The Insight WebClient is a browser-based application that reads information from Insight Server, and displays this information to the user in the form of an HTML page. To reduce the learning curve, the interface of the WebClient is quite similar to common desktop applications, such as Microsoft Outlook™. Whether the user is at the office using a desktop application or away from their desk accessing the same data through a web browser, the experience will be quite similar.

Your Insight Server comes pre-configured with customized versions of Cyrus IMAP and Apache. The customized versions are designed to integrate with the WebClient and provide the appropriate services.
